Matt Meyer
Kevin is one of the brightest engineers and leaders of his generation. I had the pleasure of working closely with him at PAREXEL across a span of many projects. His motivation, intellect, and analytical mindset are a strength which allows him to own the solution and the problem. His wide knowledge of engineering patterns and architectural domain knowledge allows him to finish his commitments on time and under budget.
Kevin has become a charismatic and results-achieving leader. He inspires, encourages, and empowers his team members to achieve amazing sprint goals and objectives. I’ve had the privilege of working with Kevin for 5+ years on several projects within the Clinical Trials technology realm. We’ve designed/developed/maintained web applications, web services, Windows services, etc. that work to support EDC (Electronic Data Capture) for patient data. Kevin has been a technical lead on many of these projects. His skills are sharp and his expertise has been instrumental to our success in delivering high quality, robust, scalable solutions.
More recently, Kevin has taken on additional responsibilities in a scrum master role. Not only has he been leading his sprint team technically, Kevin has also been leading his team to success as a model scrum master. As a result, the other scrum masters look up to Kevin’s skills and determination in this role.
Overall, Kevin is a great asset to our company, our technology group, and our applications. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him on any software project, any time.

Kevin is one of those unique Software Engineers you may come across once or twice during your career. He is very passionate about developing quality software, enjoys leading teams as the Scrum Master, and possesses skills that seem limitless. The amount of work Kevin accomplishes within sprint iterations is incredible. It’s not just the quantity, but also the quality of his work I am impressed with.
While working with Kevin as the Product Owner/Business Analyst for the past 3 years, I’ve come to appreciate his positive ‘can-do’ attitude no matter what I throw his way. Whether it’s a change in scope, updated requirements, or extremely challenging acceptance criteria, he always manages to handle it in a professional manner. Every project Kevin has been assigned was successful, even those that needed to be completed sooner than originally expected.
If I had to pick a couple qualities about Kevin that separates him from most Engineers is his creativity and ability to think outside the box. I always looked forward to our brainstorming sessions where we were tasked with finding the best solution to a challenging requirement. The dynamic Kevin brought to the team would ignite the imagination of others, stimulate the discussion, and lead us to the best possible solution.
Kevin is the Software Engineer you want on your team when the work is challenging and time is limited. For me, this could unquestionably be interpreted as ‘always’!
